Amanda Rodriguez Guynes is Regional Field Supervisor for Working America and has been with the organization since 2004. Previously, Amanda served as lead canvass director nationally and as canvass director in various cities and states. In her current role, Amanda recruits, trains and develops staff for community organizing campaigns.
Prior to joining Working America, Amanda worked at Clean Water Action. Amanda is passionate about organizing because “when we build and develop leaders, we build and strengthen movements and that’s what enables us to organize for real change.” Amanda is a mom, a musician, and an activist at heart. Amanda lives in Houston, Texas.
