Working people need a voice more than ever and Working America is making that happen.
The COVID-19 pandemic showed us that a lot of jobs are more dangerous than many of us had recognized and are not being compensated fairly. Everyone from food service workers to home care workers to grocery store workers was doing “essential” work but barely getting by. We need year-round hazard pay to compensate for the additional risks people are taking on every day.
