We have begun to talk with targeted voters in the Central Valley about what is important to them this election and who best represents the values of working families.
In order to win in November, we are investing in sustained, face-to-face organizing that reaches across racial, geographic and political divides to unite all progressive voters.
Over the past 17 months, Working America volunteers and staff have knocked on 120,796 doors, had 56,658 conversations, recruited 36,076 members and generated 25,644 actions such as petitions and calls to elected officials.
Now our volunteers and staff are knocking on doors to engage in Working America’s voter contact program. When we go to the doors, we listen to voters’ concerns and tie their issue priorities to the labor-endorsed candidate’s positions and help them plan to vote accordingly.
